We are nearly finished with Active CRM 1.2. This update has been focused on Support, Localization and Performance. We have added several new features in the Support area of Active CRM. We have added a new tab to the ticket screen called
History. The History tab displays a running summary of all activity related to a ticket. Previously, you only had two options to update a ticket. Your options were to create a basic Task activity or send an email. We have now added a third option called
Log Note that will make updating a ticket even faster.
We have also added a very flexible Notification system. With this release, Notifications will only be available for Tickets, but we have already added support to expand this to other areas (Sales, Leads, Activities, etc.). Employees will be able to create notifications based upon their own criteria for all tickets. In addition, you can also add notifications to any ticket for any contact within Active CRM. Please take a look a the screen captures below for more details.
This release will also introduce Localization support. I used the word introduce because I know it will take a couple of releases to completely localize the entire application. However, this release will cover nearly 90%. We are still looking for a few customers that can help us properly translate items text within the application. Please contact us if you would like to help. We are offering discounts on the Active CRM suite for anyone that will help us translate text.
