Add-on Updates for Active Forums

Today we released ActiveForumViewer 2.0 and ActiveForumsTopPosts 3.7.1 for Active Forums 3.7.

The ActiveForumViewer will allow you to replicate any forum group or forum to any page within your site. It also gives you additional flexibility to have a unique template design for each instance. ActiveForumViewer is free to Enterprise Customers and all existing ActiveForumViewer customers. Enterprise Customers can download the install package from our newly created Enterprise Customers Forums.

ActiveForumsTopPosts 3.7.1 includes a couple minor updates for RSS. We fixed the issue where the RSS feed didn't reflect the actual options you select for the page view. This update is available to all Active Forums 3.7 customers from the My Downloads section.

Hello,

I still havent AF 3.7, but I'm almost sure I should buy it. So I have a question:

can ActiveForumViewer or ActiveForumsTopPosts 3.7.1 be placed on pages in other portals within the same DNN Instance? Maybe you remember my case - I have 1000 portals, and it should be very useful, if I could announe posts in one portal from another. I know, I can use RSS, but using it is much more difficult. If you gave Host possibility to easy share links to posts or topics from other forums it would be wonderful! Sharing some forums between portals using Viewer will be excelent, especially I use DNNMasters user-sharing system, and users in my instance can login across the portals!

The ForumViewer and TopPosts module could be modified to meet your needs. However, they are currently designed to be portal specific.
