    Hi,

I am new to Active social, so I apologize in advance for my basic questions. I have read the manual and have gone through the forum, but I cant find anything on this.

I am creating a social network using Active Social. The network is formed around "How To" type teachings. I have a number of "teachers" who each have their own group from which I would like them to publish their articles and teachings. These text articles need to be visible in a list somewhere on the group (possibly under one of the tabs) for members to click and read.

I thought of adding a forum to the group and giving the group admin exclusive publishing access. I assume that his posts would appear under "Discussions" in a list that users would be able to click on and view, but I cant get this working. Is that how it is supposed to work?

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Regards
    Richard

Forums should be added to groups automatically, under the discussions tab. The new posts also appear on the activity tab, as links to the posts.

Make sure you have enabled "Automatically create forums" under the global group settings in the AS control panel.
