I have purchased and Installed Active Social.

DNN Version: 4.95
Active Social: 1.09.02
Active Forums: 4.03.05

I am finding that Profile view renders unacceptably slow!

What is wrong?

Active Social has be optimized for performance, but since it has so many features it does require a minimum level of hardware and system resources available to it. We usually recommend that the site be hosted on a dedicated server, not a shared server. However I am sure there are customers that have successfully used the module on shared hosting.

Having said that, performance problems when loading the profile could be caused by data corruption or other errors. Are you getting any errors in the event viewer, or any javascript errors on the page? Can you try adding the module to a page by itself, and trying again?

You may want to contact your hosting provider, and double check that there is nothing wrong with the hardware.
