I've installed AS and have a problem viewing any uploaded photos, uploaded from the PHOTO tab in the Social Profile section.
    They show uploading correctly.
But not images show, just empty boxes where the pics should be.
Curious thing is that MY profile picture works.

Have set up for Amazon S3.

Any suggestions on where to look? or what to look at?

Terribly new to this so please dumb it down for me doc.

    Thank you.

Can you please try disabling Amazon S3 and see if it works?
Are the images being uploaded to Amazon?
When you view the Photos tab, is there and album called Journal Photos, and does it have anything in it?
Are you running your site in full trust?

    Thanks for helping.
    Disabled amazon. Uploaded image.
Worked first time. Other "previously" uploaded images still show as empty box image placeholders.

Full trust? I'm sorry for my ignorance. Hired a consultant who set this up then disappeared.
Trying to learn on my own. No idea how to check for Full Trust?

I would bet that previously uploaded images will need to be uploaded again.

I will investigate the issue with amazon S3.

Full Trust is a setting in the web.config file. I was only asking to rule it out as a possibility. If the issue was resolved by disabling amazon S3, then I do not think the trust level has anything to do with it.

Here is some more information about trust levels if you are interested: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...s434y.aspx

    Ben,

Thank you so much. I deleted the empty pics. They were all test anyway.

Thank you for the link, very helpful.
