    Hi.

A private group is marked as private in the .  However, all of the group's activity is displayed in the social summary for non-group members to see.

    I have this box checked:

Is there a setting I have missed in order to make sure the private group updates and activity remain private and only viewed if you go to the groups page?

    thank you,
    Sam

Do you have your default journal entry security set to "Everyone" on the journal page of the control panel? If, so that setting may override the privacy of the group.

I believe Will mentioned recently that we may update the functionality of that default visibility setting.

Everyone is set and is important at this time for the default but private group activity should be able to be private, everything else about it can be private so it doesn't make any sense.

It would be incredibly useful to update that because we can't use this to it's fullest potential without it

How do I track whether or not this is going to or will get done?
