I'm not 100% how My Topics is supposed to work in AS profile, but I'm guessing that they are coming from My Topics in AF. If that's the case, its not working for me. My Topics from AF are not showing up in AS...though my number of posts in the furums is correct in AS profile. |

I just clicked on your name and the proper profile loaded. What did you click on that makes you think it isn't working here? |

I am guessing you are referring to my other post regarding clicking on the "My Profile" link on the top of the Active Forums page. But, it is now working on your site. It didn't when I made the post, but does now. Still not working on my site though. If I am in Active Forums and click on My Profile, it takes me to the Active Forums profile. I do have the community settings in AF set to my Active Profile - View Profile page. And, it was working at one point. I only noticed today it wasn't. |

maybe this is by design? It does give you a lot of options for forum settings. It just wasn't working that way before. Clicking on another user's name in a forum post does take me to their AS profile. |

Then again, your site now takes me to the AS profile when I click on "Profile" in the upper right of the forums . And, I still have the problem of My Topics not showing up in AS profiles regardless of I am viewing my own profile or another profile. |

It takes me to the AS profile. Try clearing your cache? I don't know why it's happening to you. Maybe the forum doesn't like you? |
|
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
Thanks. |

Sorry about that. I was posting from my phone. I'm thinking there might be a caching issue, but I haven't found anything yet. On your site, go to host settings and click restart application. Let me know if that helps. |

I cleared the cache in performance settings and did a restart with no luck. Wouldn't be surprised if the forum doesn't like me....but I hope that's not the problem. |

You know what, you are right. It does not work on my website either. Sorry for being such an ass.
When I click on the display name in a topic it works but not the "My Profile" link. I also noticed that on my website, My Profile not Profile and there is no settings link.
TotalGolf, again, please forgive me. |

I too thought that on with the latest build (1.0.14) no topics were showing up in the AS Profile on my site but then, after raising a ticket with the Helpdesk, I established that it was only when logged in as host that the topics were not getting populated, when logged out (or logged in as anyone but host) it worked fine. |

Same here: does not work on AS 1.0.14 but worked on 1.0.12 or 1.0.11 Also have a problem with the "logged in user name" link next to the log out link in top right corner. When I set it to link to the AS Profile, new users can't register and when I set it to link to: Not Specified in the DNN settings it links to (I beleive it to be) DNN profile. |

Frozen, no worries. I didn't really think you were being an ass. Knowing software at least a little, I know how fickle it can be. I could very well have had a config issue, or an isolated issue...I just needed to know how to fix it. As for Eoghan's post about the host account, I have tried standard registered member accounts with the same result. |

Frozen - make sure you copy the dll's from the install zip to the bin on your server since you are running DNN 5.0. That'll probably clear that issue up for you. At minimum make sure the AS and AF dll's are dated Feb 10th. I have not had an upgrade where I didn't have to copy the dlls to the server with DNN 5.0 with AS / AF.

We are running DNN 5.0 on this site as well. Every update we also have to manually copy the .dll files. I have no idea what is causing this, but is with any module, not just Active Social or Active Forums. I'm considering moving to DNN 4.9.1. |

4.9.1 is working well, except for the User Online caching issue. (my site doesn't show users as online at all) The issue is in the bug tracker and marked as Checked-In, so hopefully they'll release sometime soon. |

I manually copied the Active Social dll but that didn't help. Then I copied the Active Forums dll and that didn't help. But, alas, copying the SQL dataprovider dll did the trick..though I'm guessing I probably needed to copy both AF dll's. |

We are on DNN 4.9.1 and have the same problem i.e. when you go to anyones My Topics, there is nothing listed there for any user. Well, almost nothing, we have a user account which is on more than one portal and that users topics are showing on the wrong portal. These are the only topics that can be seen. We copied the dll's for AF however still nothing is showing in My Topics. |
