When I create a group I get the following poston the Summary page. It seems to me that its repeating the post, but the second is not formated correct. I just need it to mention only once. Where and how could I correct this? Leticia Falcon created the group Somethings cookin' about 3 hours ago Leticia Falcon created the group [AS:JOURNALINFO:GROUPNAMELINK] about 3 hours ago Thanks |

Go into the Active Social Control Panel and look at the Journal Section. Turn off the Group Created option for the Summary column. |

Hi Will, I want to show the group created in the main summary. I think it helps promote group participation. I just don't want [AS:JOURNALINFO:GROUPNAMELINK] to show in the summary. The actual "code" is what's showing on the summary page. |

I want to show the group created in the main summary. I think it helps promote group participation. You should still see the first one that is formatted correctly. |

By default, Groups Created should have a check in all three columns, and Groups Updated should only have a check in the center (Groups) column. |

If you create a new group, after confirming that the settings are correct, does it still make two journal items? Have you modified the journal templates for the Group Created journal type? Can you try deleting the Summary View from the page and adding it again? Do the duplicate messages appear for all users? Or just admins? Or just the group creator?

Hi Ben, Answers to questions: 1. Yes. Also, it only does it for the main summary page. I get only one message on the group page or profile page. 2. No, I haven't touch them. 3. I did and getting the same response. 4. all users but only on the main summary page. |
