    Hi Ben / Will,

Feel free to post this if you care to.

Question: I'm wondering if I should invest time and money into getting a developer to create mobile application for AS. I'm attending a event on Aug 4 - 7 of 70,000 people. I will be having a both there and it would be awesome if I could get the visitors to register on the site using their mobile devices. This would be huge.

Please advise if a mobile version will be release soon or should I get a developer.

    Thanks I greatly appreciate it!!!!

Gary, I would also like to hear back from Will and Ben on this one. There are mobile templates in the AS framework now but nothing to use them with

In the meantime, you might check this out: http://www.activemodules.com/blogs/will/introducing-frowser-my-dotnetnuke-hackathon-entry/

    or here: http://www.frowser.net/

It's ActiveModules (pre DNN) winning entry for a mobile application. It's open source too: http://frowser.codeplex.com/ so if you go the development route you have a jump start.

IMHO - mobile is a big gap with DNN right now. I've been looking into platforms on my own (Sencha touch, Titanium, PhoneGap, etc) and while some have come up with Mobile Skins, there doesn't seem to be a comprehensive mobile strategy come out of DNN. In fact I think Will and Ben have pushed this concept further than before. I hope DNN will step up soon. Actually, I would really like to see a roadmap that includes mobile and outlines the toolsets corp intends to support. I would hate to build out something using Sencha only to find out that DNN is releasing something later this year using Titanium (which was a toolset mentioned by DNN before) thus giving me a dead ended path.
