    • Active Social Version: 1.9.1
    • DotNetNuke Version: 5.5.1
    I can't find why I'm missing the box in the top where user can write items in ProfileView or Summary. In this box are these buttons:  e.g. Status, ShareLink, Note, AddPhotos, Upload File, Event. In SocialSummary I have turned on "Show Journal Tools"

    Yes. That was the reason. Non admin user has to be used to see that tools.

    To clarify, administrator users can see the journal tools. Only super-user accounts cannot.

    Does anyone know where there might be a possibility to disable journal tools besides the control panel? I think I broke something when I first started messing around with Active Social, but I'm not sure what I did or in which file it was in. I can't see the tools regardless of what type of user I use to log in. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Did you create an custom templates on the design page of the control panel?
    Are you using the latest version?

    I haven't created any custom templates and am running version 1.9.1

    I am seeing the div with class=asjournal but with no content.

    <div class="asjournal" id="ctlJournal" runat="server">
    [AS:CONTROL:JOURNALTOOLS]
    </div>

    It looks as though the
    [AS:CONTROL:JOURNALTOOLS]
    isn't being populated with content in the /DesktopModules/ActiveSocial/config/templates/Profile/Journal.ascx
