I am an admin of my site and want to make an announcement to all the registered users through journal. I was just wondering if there is any way to post the same message on a social summary page of all the users.

How to send an email blast to all the group members, registered users and friends?

    Thanks for your help.

If your user account is set as the Auto Friend, or you are already friends with all the users, then just simply posting a note or status message will appear on all user's summary view.

If you would like to send an email to all users, I would suggest using the Active Forums module with auto-subscription enabled, or one of the core Dnn modules like newsletter or announcements.

    Thanks Ben for your response.

As we have already imported 'Registered Users' from our website to active social, Auto friend will not be of much use in this situation. Auto friend option would be helpful if have to add newly register users to our friends list. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Auto subscription is a feature of AF Enterprise. We purchased Active Social and got Active Forum with it. I would highly appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

How can we send an email to all members?
How to get an enterprise Active Forum. Do we have to pay extra for that?

    Thanks in advance.

If you purchased AS Enterprise, then you also have AF enterprise.

The other two modules I mentioned are free modules that can be found on codeplex.

Hi Ben, I work with Sara on this site. When we purchased Active Social enterprise, we got Active Forums Express. How can we get Active Forums enterprise.

That's weird. Can you send me a private message with the purchase information?
