    I am the admin and when I look at the Member List, some don't register with proper punctuation. To fix it, I click on their avatar and go to their profile. Click on "Edit Profile" and make the changes. Click Save and that's it.

    BUT, it doesn't save. In fact any changes that you make going through the AS "My Profile" section won't save the changes.

    I am using Active Social 1.4.1.0

    Are any of you having the same issues?

    No, this hasn't been reported and this is something we have done for several customers on their own sites. The only time this will usually be a problem is when you have custom profile properties that might not be rendering properly. When you say "Click Save and that's it", what does that really mean? Does the page refresh? Does it redirect back to the profile? Any messages on the page? Are you sure you aren't missing a required field?


    Try to edit the profile using the DotNetNuke User Manager and let me know what happens

    Andy, I was having a similar issue before with my countries.. JP in an older version, but then it was changed to Japan.

    For some reason anytime you went to update a users profile, it was save, and refresh, but nothing was changed.

    Will fixed it for me.

    Hi

    I am also experiencing the same issue. When click the save it just refreshes the page. But nothing get saved. Please let me know how to fix it.

    When I click on MY ACCOUNT under a profile, and you modify any of the fields.

    Lets say for example, your updating the email address.

    You put in: TEST@TEST

    then hit update. There are no notifications to inform the user that they incorrectly typed their email address.

    If you click MY ACCOUNT again, to see if the changes took place, they didnt.

    So I am wondering if its planned to add in notifications when the user makes mistakes for typing and updating their active social under MY ACCOUNT.

    What version are you using? I can't reproduce this. It says "The email address you have entered is invalid" when I try to save.
