    Hi,
Has anyone had any problems with DNN logout after installing ActiveSocial? Or after upgrading to dnn v5.x? I recently upgraded dnn from v4.9.4 to v5.2.3, and all of a sudden many of our dnn users started having problems with logging out. I tried clearing cache and cookies, but that didn't help at all. I contacted DNN and they told me to "Wait out and see if your issue resolves itself"? Well, it's been 2 weeks, and the issue has not resolved itself. Go figure!

So I was just wondering if anyone out there has had similar problems with dnn logout? Or is there any possibility that ActiveSocial is interfering with dnn logout? Thanks.

Did you upgrade Active Social at the same time? I don't see why this would have anything to do with Active Social. You can see that the logout link on this site and activesocial.com work perfectly fine. Keep in mind, Active Social doesn't handle the logout process, this handled by DotNetNuke completely. Also, make sure you have all browser windows closed when you log out. If you have multiple windows open and only logout from one, you will remain logged in.

I upgraded AS to v1.5.3 after upgrading dnn to v5.x.

I only had one browser tab open in one browser instance.

I didn't think AS would be the cause either. I just wanted to double check.

    Thanks.

You can watch the activity during the logout process using a product like fiddler.
    http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/

You should be able to see the cookies being cleared or reset depending on the request.

    Hope that helps.
