    • Active Social Version: 1.9.1
    • DotNetNuke Version: 5.6.1
    Active socail Version 1.9.2.0

On Set Default Journal Entry Security.
I can added and remove everything perfectly fine.
However, I cannot remove Private. This is causing an issue with posts being marked as Private and no one seeing them.

On the Profile pages however, it is some how defualt to everyone. But on the Socail Summary page, It defaults to Private.  I really need to remove private from the list. I have changed everything possible that i can see to everyone as on this site, we want nothing to be private or friends only on the site as it is a workout site.

    Hi Ross,

Thanks for creating a new post.

Here are my suggestions from the other topic.

Set the admin skin to the DNN Default Minimal Extropy. This is to avoid any potential javascript issues.
Check the DNN event viewer and see if there are any error messages.
Restart the application from the DNN Host Settings menu.

There are two different sections of the Default Journal Entry Security.
On the left side is the list of the settings. Selecting a radio button next to one of them will set the permission that is automatically chosen when someone creates a new journal item. I recommend Default or Everyone.

On the right side is the options you wish to have available in addition to the default permission you just selected. To add options click the >>. You are not required to add anything to this list, and if you do not, it will always use the option you selected on the left side.

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but read this thread.

I have what I think is a similar problem. You can work around it by deleting your options from bottom up. Then just add back the ones you want.

Of course, you need to understand, as Ben pointed out, what each side of the list does. Its a UI issue, as it took me a while to figure out that "Set Default Journal Entry Security Options Available to Members" is actually two separate phrases "Set Default Journal Entry Security" and "Options Available to Members".
