Hi:

I am seeing all kinds of weird behavior with activesocial photos and photo albums.  For example, right now, the Journal PHotos album for the logged in user says "15 photos".  THe problem is when you go to the detail and try to view those photos nothing shows up.  PHotos can randomly disppear and, if you upload the same photo twice it can really confuse AS.

Has anyone seen this kind of funky weird behavior in AS?  If so, are you still using the photos functionality or did you replace it with a third party module like UMG?

I had seen the issue with incorrect image counts in previous versions but I thought it was resolved. It had to do with view permissions on the images.

Are you using Amazon S3 to store your images?

I have never encountered a problem with disappearing images or uploading the same image multiple times.

Yes. I have experienced mucj weirdmess also. Yesterday I added 2 pics to an album, Turns out that I actually uploaded the same pic twice. I deleted a pic and then I see two pics showing the default album cover as the pics. Had to delete everything and start over.

DNN 5.5 and AS 1.9.1

I am reviewing UMG as a possible replacement.

I can confirm this behavior on my installation as well.  In fact, I've uploaded and deleted photos so many times in the journal album that the whole photo album is now confused - it reports 16 photos but only shows one.  I have no idea how to reset this and force it to resync or reset.
