    Hi,

I have a properly functioning Amazon S3 account which I have confirmed is receiving all my group and profile images. Only problem is, AS is leaving a copy of the file (full size) on my server. I don't have the setting to "keep image" turned on so this is extremely strange. All I know is that my server space is shrinking fast and I don't know how to AS to get rid of the files.

Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, is there a way to deal with this?

    Thanks

Happens to me too. Some limitation in Active Social's Amazon S3 Integration. It will not transfer bigger files to Amazon S3
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
    Thanks.

Interesting Frozen. In my case, they transfer to amazon, but are still left on my server. I can navigate to my S3 through S3Fox and see that the directory structure is there and the images are there in their proper form, but the original uploaded image stays on my server, along with a lg, md, and sm version in their relative directories.

I ran across your problem when I was searching for help and noticed that it was quite a while ago, did they not fix this issue yet? Or is mine different from yours?

    Thanks

Could be same problem. My basic problem is that I see the pictures on my server. I have not verified whether they are transferred to S3. Yes it was long time ago. I have not officially heard from them that they have fixed it. I am sure it has not been fixed because I using the latest AS and the problem still exists, unless of course, my settings are wrong.

Anyway, I am sure they will fix it once they finish their integration with DNN. But you never know. They may altogether stop supporting the photos in AS and ask us to use a TP module.
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
    Thanks.

Can we get an official answer to whether this is a known issue or if it's new please...and if there is a method to deal with this or if it will be fixed in an upcoming release?

    Thanks
