Hi,

Adminstrator users have no problem creating photo galleries and uploading photos.  However our community members are kicked out to the login page when they click to upload a photo in the photos area on the profile page.  I am using the newest ActiveSocial 1.1.

Is there a permission setting somewhere I need to change to enable the members to utilize this area?

Once again, I am sorry if this posted somewhere else.  I tried a search but found no results that applied for photo permissions.

I looked everywhere in the forums and found some similar issues, but none with any conclusions. I can't seem to turn "off" this photos tab in the profiles just in the meantime while I try to resolve the issue. Is there a way to do this?

When I try different users (some admins, some members) I run into different problems with this photos area. With an admin it will try to let you insert an image but gets stuck and does nothing, and then will log me out of the system. With members it wont even get to the screen to add galleries or photos just gets stuck.

Is anyone else having the same issues, or is there some kind of permission thing I need to change??

You can hide the tab by adding the following:

[AM:CONTROLS:TAB:Info:Friend] - Only Friends can see it
[AM:CONTROLS:TAB:Info:Private] - Only the user can see it
[AM:CONTROLS:TAB:Info:Admin] - Only the Admins can see it
[AM:CONTROLS:TAB:Info] - Everyone can see it

Replace Info with the appropriate photo in the profileview.ascx file This file can be found in the template folder structure. Good luck.
