    Could not find file 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\weezkids.com\wwwroot\DesktopModules\ActiveSocial\config\defaultgroupforums.config'

Did you uninstall again before installing Active Social 1.1?

Please look at the file path above and confirm that it doesn't exist. Then see if you have a upgrades folder in config directory.

It does create Group but it hangs for about 10 secs on the second step of creating the Group wizard and an error shows up on the event log.

This is what I really need to know.

Also, you are running DNN 5.0.1 which still has many problems properly installing modules.

You don't need to do that. The file is missing from the install package.

Ok. Good. I do not mind doing that when necessary I do not want to create extra hassle for you because of my preference to use DNN 5.0.1 despite warning from DNN and you as well.

Download the attached file and  change the extension from .txt to .config.  Copy the file into your config directory.

    defaultgroupforums.txt
