HTML Options
30 May 2009 05:09 AM
HTML formatting gives your users more control over the text on their profile or group page. Please note that allowing users to enter html text can open your site to security risks. Enabling any of the three options will replace the standard textbox with a “WYSIWYG” editor. This allows users to format fonts, colors, size, add links, etc.
The text this applies to is as follows:
Groups – The group description at the top of the page.
Profile – The user’s biography located at the top of the user profile page.
Messaging – All private messages will use the html editor when composing a new message.
The editor height and width settings are the size, in pixel, of the html input textbox. The default settings are the minimum values, because if it was any smaller, the font toolbars would fill the whole area.
