Once you have purchased Active Social, you will need to visit the Downloads section of our website to get the installation package. Click the Active Social link, and then click the name of the most recent Active Social release. There will be a link to the installation package and the administration guide. There will also be a list of release notes that you should read. Click the links to download the files.

Once you have downloaded the files, log in to your DNN site as host. Go to the Module Definitions page under the host menu. Click the “Install New Module” link from the action menu. Click the browse button and navigate to the folder where your downloaded module is contained. Select the Active Social compressed file and click Open, then Install New Module.

DotNetNuke will take over and automatically install everything. If you get any errors during this step, please make a copy and send them to us in a help desk ticket.

Once the installation process is complete, navigate to the page where you wish to display Active Social.
