Active Social includes support for the third-party applications listed below.  Each API has specific requirements and configuration options.  Please review the details for each application before you expose the feature within your site.

Twitter
Status messages from profiles and groups can be posted to twitter.  Before you can enable twitter integration you will need to register your site as an application with twitter to receive the proper API access. If you already have a twitter account you can immediately register your application at twitter.com.  You will need to have your own twitter account before you can register your application.  The image below provides several suggestions that should be helpful when registering your application.
