When a member search is performed, the following error appears:

An error has occurred.
Error: ActiveSocial is currently unavailable.

The error most commonly occurs when you have selected an invalid value for the “Sort Column” on the Member Directory Social View Settings. The setting allows you to change which profile property is used to sort the list of members. If you select a profile property for which not all members have a value entered, the error will appear when using the search function. We suggest that you use a profile property such as DisplayName, FirstName, LastName, UserID or a required profile property.
