    Aloha all,
I've run into some issues in that I need to customize the sign up form and not really sure how to do it - we are even thinking about using another 3rd party registration form due to flexibility...on the other hand we are not looking for that complicated flow:

    a) Enable the Email address to populate both username and email address at sign up
    b) the other section we want are fn, ln, password, as well as some items for sign up newsletters etc
    c) We would also like the flow to not require the user to do validation, but if they do they get additional access (it seems like this can be handled by the community role vs. registration role though)

Or is the better approach to use e.g. Dynamic Registration and login for that section and Active social just for the community sections?

    Thoughts anyone?
    THanks

I'd go Dynamic Reg. Create a very simple form. Another option I've used before is FormMaster...which is great for creating forms and can also register a user.....you just map the fields to DNN.
