Clean install on DNN 5.5.0 with AS 1.9.3 and AF 4.3.7 and reproduced on two production AS installs:
When logged in as Registered Member as Admin of a Group:
When creating a new PM the user types in the name of one of their groups. Previously, type ahead would find the group Currently it returns "No Results" Confirmed group ownership, removed it, saved it, etc...same result.
When logged in as Host:
Works as expected.
Ideas?

I am also seeing this behavior. It works as an admin user also though, not just host. |

OK, seems like it was introduced at 1.9.3. Any plans for a patch for this? It's a frequently used feature on several of my sites |

This is not a bug and the behavior has been the same for quite awhile. Under the messaging options in the Active Social control panel you need to have the auto complete filter set to All Users in order for the groups to appear otherwise it will only show friends as the filter indicates. |
