Hi,
I note that my license for Active Social ran out a couple of
days ago. I’ve not had a reminder as in the past, but would like to know the
options now that Active Social etc. it part of DNN. Is there a renewal process?
Does Mail Connector work as part of Active forums now.
Thanks

There isn't a need to renew for product updates. However, if you wish to renew to still have access to support then you can choose the support renewal option on the Active Social listing on Snowcovered. |

When I look on Snowcovered I don't see a specific support option. So at this point, it looks like I would need to pay $399.95 for a year of support. Is that correct. I also want to understand the Additional License for 15%. Does that mean that I would pay $60 for a new license if I already own an Enterprise License? If so, does that new license come with support? This may all be moot in a few months, but it would be nice to know for the near term how this works. Thanks. |

I don't believe the downloads tab in profiles is being updated anymore since the acquisition of AM by DNN. Try the downloads link above the top menu. Can't help ya on the questions about support.... |

I went to the main Downloads page that I get to from the Downloads link at the top of the site. All I see there is Active Profile and Active Forums Lite. Hopefully Will will chime in with more info. |

I have just updated the Active Social downloads that appear under the Downloads tab for profiles. Prior to the acquisition, we were starting to migrate all the downloads to the downloads tab. The logic here is that any user that had a valid Active Social subscription on February 2, 2011 should have access to the latest updates until the DotNetNuke integration was complete. I still have to do some additional updates for Express and Standard, but I'm traveling at the moment and only have the Enterprise editions with me. If you are an Enterprise with a valid subscription and still don't see the latest files under your profile, please send me a PM on this site. Please be sure to include your username and invoice number from last purchase. Thanks, Will |

Will, I do not see any kind of a support renewal option on the Active Social listing on Snowcovered. Can you provide any additional information that will help me find it? Thanks, Steve |

Hi, I think I have sent two emails to Will - one to support and one to his email, and I have not received any replies. Has anyone heard from him? My first question still applies. Under downloads I have only access to Active profile and Active forums lite. Prior to Feb 2011 my subscription was to Active Forums enterprise. - I sent Will those details. Any update? I also asked about a step by step method of linking Active Profile and Facebook, which Will wrote about on DNN site. - Any update? Thank You Paul |

Also would like to download the newest release. I was active with enterprise until May 2011. Did send Will a message as requested, probably got lost in the many he gets a day. Thanks, much appreciated.

When I click the downloads tab or link in this thread I don't see downloads for active social. Please advise. |

Alright, My license (subsrciption) is up today. I realize that any future updates are available free of charge. But my main concern is when AS is integrated into the core. I went to Snowcovered and the cost for support renewal is $250. I want to have the support available when I make that migration to the core features of AS, but I'm concerned with the fact of when that will happen. I can't remember the last time I used AM support. I do most things myself, but I'm sure I'll need a guru available when I migrate and I'll need that support. 1. Should I purchase the Support Subscription now to keep my license current? I'm presuming it's only good for a year based on what Snowcovered States? 2. Can I purchase a support subscription later when I plan to migrate, or is this subject to change and no longer be available later? I guess you could say that I'm in utter fear of the migration path, and want to make sure that I have support available to me when that crossroad comes.

The support licensing for my AS Enterprise module has expired as well. Is there anything that can be done short of full renewal that can restore access to the downloads? My last renewal order was in 9/2010 and at the time there was a $99 "download only" renewal option.
