It seems like the options for Group Access Type might be a little limited. If a person creates a group with Access Type Closed - Anyone can join but members must be approved, then there is not a link to view the group unless you can find the Group Creator's profile and then link from the My Groups listing.

Is there a reason to not allow linking to a group to check it out before joining? But still have Membership Approval required? The way it is now, I have to Join a group just to check it out (after my request is approved).

Can there be an open group with membership approval required instead of just closed OR Totally Open or Totally Private?
