Hi we have Active social 1.9.1 running on our site but friends and members of groups are unable to see each others journal entry's apart from one member who's entry's our visible to other users and members.
Have I missed something or filed to turn something on?
Thanks in advance

On the journal page of the control panel, make sure you do not have the Default Journal Entry Permission radio button set to "Friends Only","Group Members" or "Private". If you do, I would set it to Default or Everyone. The default permissions acts as "Friends Only" in the context of a profile, and as Group Members in the context of a group. |

Hi Ben Thanks for your help, I've tried reseting the journal entry permissions to default but it doesn't seem to change anything. I still can't see the members activity history, I have 3 member accounts created all friends with one another and all members of the same group but only one member allows you to view their activity while the other 2 do not. Can you tell me what tables in the database show who the members are friends so I can check that it is linking correctly there. Thanks |

I am not sure how you are testing, but if you change the permissions, it will not affect journal items that were already created. You would need to create new ones. You may also need to check the "My Settings" page on the user's profile and see what the permissions in there are. |
