I have a membership site for which I am using AS in part. My users create accounts, subscribe by going through a payment gateway and then automatically get given the DNN role that provides access to the members area.

My problem is that I can't seem to get the auto friend and auto add-to-group working. I don't have any verification process of anyone's account do I need this for it to work?

I have noticed that even if I manually add the 'private_area" role to an account then the auto friend / auto group does to happen.

Please can you let me know when this 'script' is triggered?

Hi Johnathan,
Auto Friend and Auto Group are only processed when using the Active Social Sign-up controls. A few other customers have posted sql scripts that allow for the same functionality, but those must be implemented on your own.
