I've heard that Active Social (AS) will be included in DNN Core and will be released in the second quarter 2012 to enhance social network features for DNN. I would like to know, after being included into DNN Core, there will be any links between Active Social and DNN ContentItem?

ContentItem has been included into DNN Core for a while but there are very few features for this other than tagging. So some items in Active Social such as Activity or Event or Journal Post will be ContentItem or not? And can we reuse AS social network features like comment, rate and activity feed for other ContentItem type. We would like to know about this because currently we are considering whether we should or should not make our data entities be DNN ContentItem.
