    On the activity tab in IE 8 the page extends way far to the right.  It works fine in firefox and chrome.  I found another post that said you could fix it by using another skin or making your current skin XHMTL compatible.  Unfortunately, neither of those is an option for me as we've been using, and want to continue to use the current skins.  Also when flipping the whole site doc type to XHMTL it screws a lot of things up.

    My question is, is there something in the Journal.ascx or in the module.css file that I can change to correct this?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    I don't remember off the top of my head, but I believe you need to make the journal tools have a static width.

    Steven Webster had a fix for it, but I seem to have misplaced it.

    Thanks Ben.

    That pointed me in the right direction. It's resolved now. Here is what I had to do:

    In the "JournalTools.ascx" file (located here: DNN/DesktopModules/ActiveSocial/config/templates/Other/JournalTools.ascx) I added the following to the div on line 33:

    Style="width:600px;"

    I attempted to modify the css class "asjournaltool" but didn't have any luck doing it that way.

    Hope this helps someone else.
