performed upgrade of dnn to 5.6.2 and now the user autosearch doesn't work in messaging and in the group creation from the control panel..

anyone know what platform the search is built on so I can at least start looking at things that might interfere.

Ok... I'm learning to use fiddler now.
It seems that when using the autosuggest in either the group admin or using messaging it uses the following file:
desktopmodules/activesocial/autosuggest.aspx?portalid=1&t=0&qh
i looked in the folder and found the following code:
<%@ Page Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeBehind="autosuggest.aspx.vb" Inherits="Active.Modules.Social.autosuggest" %>
can someone tell me what the code means.. i'm assuming there is something wrong or interfereing with the vb but i know nothing about how to check it out.

by jove i t hink i've got it... at least the problem.
DNN masters url plugin causes the vb search funtionality to be inoperative.

Dnn masters has since fixed the problem.. all is well with the planetsocialsports.com social sports network
