    • Type of Feedback: Something I love
Is anyone seeing this behaviour: you enable the twitter feed, then realize that you don't want to feed tweetdom with every post on your social site, so you uncheck the Enable Twitter checkbox on your profile settings, save it... then go about your business and realize you are still tweeting? The enable setting does not save its' changed state.

I can not reproduce this. Tested in AS 1.9.2, in Firefox 3.6 and Internet Explorer 8.

Enabling Twitter integration worked on both browsers, allowing my AS posts to be added to Twitter.

I disabled the AS Twitter integration by unchecking the My Settings > Social Tools> Enable Twitter box and clicking save.

Upon viewing the profile again, the small twitter icon had reverted to the larger "Add Twitter Account" button.

All subsequent status posts were not posted to Twitter.

It would seem that the issue is not specific to Twitter integration, but saving the settings in the My Settings interface. Are you guys using the admin account to change another user's settings? Are you getting any javascript errors when you try to save? I have experienced a similar problem in past versions, but I am not exactly sure what the cause was.

in my case, using my non-admin account and seeing no errors at all and none in the site log. I thought perhaps because i have more than one AS portal that perhaps this was causing the issue, but no errors are seen. I just double-checked and no dice, no errors, no logs.

I have just realized that any changes to my profile settings are NOT saving. As well i am not seeing any any emails from group posts. I think it is time to go back to 1.9.1 or earlier.

Am i the only case for these settings not working? Full-trust environment, no errors that i no of.. just not working. FRUSTRATING.

You might want to try creating support tickets or creating your own topic in the support forums for actual problems you have.
