Will, please explain not supported? Are you saying that if something goes wrong you will not help or it is not recommended or MC does not work in groups or there is some work to be done re: MC and Groups or something else?
The Mail Connector has never been tested, updated or considered to be used within the context of an Active Social group. There are many factors to consider involving security and settings. I'm actually surprised it is working for you at all. We plan to add support for the mail connector within social groups but it is still a couple months out.
