It'd be extremely cool if there was a Frowser for iphone and Android which supported both ActiveSocial and ActiveForums, given the new AS APIs. Instant social networking client for our sites!

Part of my thinking in this would be to deliver a 'reference' client which could be built upon by third parties. For example, a third party might add Metaweblog support so you can post blog entries from the client. But more importantly, this would kickstart the concept of mobile clients for AS enabled sites.


The other thought I had revolved around desktop apps like Seesmic Desktop 2. Its plugin approach seems perfect to me for a Frowser plugin to enable AS sites to be used within SD2 - and it sounds like this may allow for compatibility with a Windows Phone 7 client too!

Given both of these, a whole bunch of site admins could practice their "Muahahahahahahaas"
