I am drawing a blank on how to change the default for all new members to have this setting be Friends and not Only Me. It might be right in front of me, but i cannot see how to affect this change. I am doing it in raw SQL but prefer not to have to go this route of course. See below for the area i refer to:

Check in the AS CP > Journal > Journal Settings. But it will reset all users.

Thanks Jeff, i checked there immediately but quickly realized that there appears to be no way to directly affect the setting i wish to change for all new users. This seems to be a simple mistake, or perhaps a feature, of AS. I do not want to reset everyone, i simply want to ensure new users get the proper setting i require. But i appreciate the reply!

This setting is supposed to be Friends Only by default, but I have confirmed that it is defaulting to Only Me. This will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Thanks Ben! Suggestion (free of charge ;) ) .. every option that defaults should be settable by us within the Control Panel.

Hello Ben, is it possible to resolve it with some patch? This is actually causing the blow to social feature. People add discussion topic/reply and expect to see others in journal. Mitigating of this and resolving these issues causes time burden.

Some additional info: When I click on "Click to Reset All User Profiles" then the following Status, Share Link, Note, Add Photos, Upload File is changed to "Only Me". This looks like a bug. Actually, there is no "Group Memmbers" option in "My Settings" form.
