    • Type of Feedback: Something I deal with
Will once said that AS is not meant to be fb, but the reality is that fb has good analysis of user flow. The photo album area is a good example. Case in point: i am busy, and usually have 10+ browser tabs rolling, a dev environment or two, emails etc. Fire up a new album, enter name/desc then go an upload 24 pics via multi-select.. easy. I of course never wait for 24 images to upload. Invariably i forget and click back to Home or elsewhere after the upload. The album shows 24 pics, but but but, you can never see them. They just don't show. So you try again.. then you have 48 images.. Now, going to delete them is like plucking hair: one at a time, returning to album view after deleting from image detail view rather than selecting the next image detail view, over and over. This is just not good user flow.

I am sure Will is already typing out that over the course of time many users helped shape this current state of affairs, and that this is just my opinion and that this is meant to be simple and defaulted behaviour.. but, fb is king for a reason, they make it easy. Connect this with my last post about the journaling of albums and images and i can understand why my novice users go to fb instead of my site to post pics.

this is *reality* as i see it with this part of my AS experience. thoughts? drew..
