Some folks are entering really huge bios and it would be nice if there was the possibility of a '....more' link that would pop down the entire bio field but only show a chosen number or characters by default. thanks, Will Sugg |

I'm sure you could do this with Jquery quite easily and make a new Info view... (I have not looked at this kind of stuff yet but will have to at some point) |

I am testing 1.4.1 - the new template strategy is so much better. I appreciate how much work must have gone in to re-engineering that! How do you do this ...more function with the bio? Along those lines, as I looked, when you search the knowledgebase forum is it also searching inside the pdfs with the manuals? It sure would be nice if we had one spot where we could search all the docs and kb from. thanks, Will |

Add this token in the [AS:DISPLAYTEMPLATE] area of your memberlist template.
<br>[AS:PROFILE:Biography:NOHTML|LEFT(10,more)]<br> This new structure requires Active Social 1.5 |

Same question....seems like group descriptions tend to be much longer. |

Not yet. The GroupsList will be next. ProfileView and GroupView will have this feature shortly after. |

Is "GroupsList" available now? I just ran into the issue where I need to limit group descriptions. |

Cheers! Jeff
