    • Type of Feedback: Something to think about
    Hi Will,

    This is a usability/workflow suggestion.

I've just received a notification in my email inbox saying someone from here has added me as a friend and asking me to confirm the request.

That's all fine and good.. so I clicked the link, saw the message online, but then clicked through to their profile to see more before I confirmed or denied the request.

And at that point the procedure falls to pieces. I've been clicking around my profile but I cannot find the request again to confirm it. The only way I've managed to find it again is to go back to the email and click the link again.

There needs to be some sort of visible notice on one's profile page saying that there's a friend request waiting... basically just like Facebook has.

I think a simple "Friend requests:xx" link in the Friends box would do it?
    Regards
    Rob

I'm pretty sure that when you visit a profile of a user that requested to be a friend it says "Confirm Friend Request" in place of "Add Friend". Granted, it probably doesn't stand out, but I think it is there.

For me there just doesn't seem to be a way for me to access the AM Messaging at all unless I am clicking a link in an email or attempting to mail using the icon on someone's profile. It seems that messaging is configured / used a little differently on AM versus the AS site and I understand there could be reasons for that. But it seems like there should be some way to get into my message area like the Welcome object on AS. Am I missing something?
