    May i suggest that the friending journal entry(s) be reduced to one entry only, such as:

    Drew Curry and Alyssa Milano are now friends

    instead of

    Drew Curry is now friends with Alyssa Milano
    and
    Alyssa Milano is now friends with Drew Curry

    {let me dream on the a second.. there, thanks, where was i again..}

    oh yeah..  it would save space and there is ALWAYS two in this dance, so it only makes sense.

    cheers, drew..

    You should have a single person accept multiple friend requests within an 8 hour window. You will then see they are not exactly the same.

    i have had time to think about this, and ponder on Will's brief statement, and i concur, this is much more eloquent logic than i first thought. When time duration is tied into it, it does make sense to consider consolidating the string for who Suzi might have met during that time. This of course is not related to who the others she met might have met as well. In a low volume site like mine currently is, this is easier to contemplate.
    I think i prefer Will's setup to compact a group of users that Suzi might have met but with a caveat: if Suzi and i have only met each other within the time duration set out, i prefer the original statement i suggested, one line: drew & Suzi are now friends.
    Any thoughts are welcome, and as usual, i do not mind being wrong   drew..
