It would be very community-building and allow for more "get to know you" if all journaling where comment-able. For example, when i see two folks who have friended, it is nice to be able to say something. A woman just posted 20 pics and i want to be able to comment below a few of the pics. Will this sort of thing be available in 1.9? "Will" is a tough word to use when Will is the designer   drew..

I've been able to "add" the commenting tokens to the journal templates. Haven't tried it on photos yet.

You can add the comment tokens to photos also in the journal templates and it will work, but with restriction. The comments will only show up in the journal, and not be attached to the photos or album themselves when viewing the actual photos. The comment token is specific to the journal, whereas photos have their own commenting system. I'm not sure how this will effect upgrades, but I presume there would be no issue since the comments are attached to the journal type.

    Cheers! Jeff
