    Hi,

I'm trying to see if there's a way to include the original feed image in the RSS journal template instead of the JournOwner's profile pic? I see an img tag here:
    [AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:SOURCE:XML{feed/image/url}|
    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Have you modified the templates? I'm pretty sure the default template will display the image from the feed when available.

    Hi Will,

I'm using the standard template for RSS imports. It shows the icon of the user who's feed it belongs to on the left but no other images are showing. I have verified that the image is included in the feed and that the proper feed tags for images have been used. Here is the display template as I have it:

    <table class="asjournalrowitem"><tr><td>[AS:JOURNALINFO:JOURNALAUTHORPICTURE]td><td class="asjournalcell">[AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:SOURCE:XML{feed/image/url}|<img src="{0}" border="0" align="right" height="50" />][AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:TITLELINK] [AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:SUMMARY]<br />                                    <div class="asjournalbtm">[AS:JOURNALINFO:ICON] [AS:JOURNALINFO:TIMEFRAME] [AS:JOURNALINFO:SECURITY] <a href="#" onclick="return hs.htmlExpand(this)">[RESX:Read]a> [AS:JOURNAL:LINKOPTIONS] [AS:CONTROL:COMMENTLINK] <a href="[AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:URL]">[RESX:More]a>                              <div class="highslide-maincontent">[AS:JOURNALINFO:DI:BODY]div>         div>td>tr><tr><td>td><td style="width:100%;">[AS:CONTROL:COMMENT]td>tr>table>

    Thanks

    Hi:

I was just curious if there was an answer to this question. I have RSS feeds with images that I'd love to feed into AS. But the images aren't showing up

Ideally, I'd love to feed the entire CONTENTS of the feed updates so that the user never leaves the site (the feeds would be from my other sites so no copyright issues invovled). The first image and title of the article would show up in the SUMMARY and when the user clicks the item, it would take them to a detail page.

If this is not possible, do you think it's possible with a custom module that feeds into the journals? I'm asking this particular question so I don't go specing out a project that someone can't build in a reasonable amount of time.

    Thanks very much.
