I prefer not to fool around with this setting in case i mess things up (getting good momentum right now), but .. i prefer the emails sent out by AS not to show a straight eddress. Is there anybody out there that knows if or how we can format a string here that might render the From as "Drew's Groovy AS Site" and yet still contain the eddress behind the scenes, similar to how mac mail or outlook do it? I have a feeling this won't be possible, but it doesn't hurt to ask.  thanks, drew..

You could try using the SMTP formatting for the address. It would be something like this:
    Drew's Groovy AS Site

I have no idea if this will work in AS and/or DNN. I also am not sure if you can have the apostrophe or, if you can, if the display name portion needs to be quoted. Your mileage may vary, I accept no liability, yada, yada, yada. :)

Thanks Ray.. that was a shitty example by me, as i don't intend on using the apostrophe. I was envisioning the structure Outlook uses to hook the eddress to the display name sort of thing.. I will examine the dnn stmp settings, great idea. drew..

I think Ray was trying to post something like this...
    Drew's Groovy AS Site <drew@drewsdomain.com>

I'm not sure if that will work, but it is a good idea.

Thanks, Will. That is exactly what I was trying to show.
