I was wondering if anyone has come up with a good method of navigating groups when you have more than one type. For example we have a category control to display the category list and thus allow users to fine-tune what group results they get. However, when you have more than one type you want the user to be able to view the categories for one type only. If you choose to display a group list filtered by type, then you need a category list that only displays the categories related to that type.

So I'm wondering, how do you provide users with a logical navigation process with different types. Have you come up with a good solution to this issue?
