I'm still working my way through the user manual, but my client is asking me if I'm able to move the "Welcome User name/ Alert / Inbox" Area to the left pane. I know this will lead to many other questions regard to the flexibility of the layout as well. It appears that everything is set-up more via global Active Social design sheets rather than individual modules to move around, so I wanted to inquire into the possibilities for the movement of details such as this so I can make sure I explain exactly what's possible without over-promising them on what can move around and what can't. Your advice? Thanks!

The welcome center can be used just like any other module. You should be able to move it anywhere you like.
