Active Social Version:
1.9.1
DotNetNuke Version:
5.6.1
I am using Mini Sign Up and Advanced Search template, and they display alright but they are not functional. Are not suppose to work? Are they for future releases?
Thanks.
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
Thanks.

The advanced search template, should be the one that is loaded on the members list by default.
The Mini-Sign up is in use on activesocial.com, but I believe it has some custom javascript that allows us to use the email address as the username. If I remember correctly, it just copies the value from the email address text box to a hidden username field, before processing the registration. The javascript has not been released though, as far as I know.

Frozen,
You can also make the "username" text box be the entry for email instead. Meaning just change the text from username to email. This will basically do the same thing as what Ben has pointed out without the js. Then users will login with email rather than username. The only issue with this though is you are using an email as the username which is not editable without entering the db.
This is one of the things I think where DNN fails. Not entirely DNN's fault. More related to the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider.
Cheers! Jeff
