    • Active Social Version: 1.8.2
    • DotNetNuke Version: 5.5.1
    I need to move some of my older Active Forum forums into the newer Active Social Community Group. I did this by editing the forum using the Active Forum control panel and changing the groups that they belong to.

    The problem I have now is that although these groups moved in the Active Forums module and are now correctly placed under the relevant Community Group, they don't appear in the Active Social Group itself under "Discussions"

    Does anyone know how to do this? Make these groups part of the Active Social Group itself?

    Usually you can use the Group Admin UI to link a forum to a specific group, but it looks like there is a bug that is preventing the forum link option from displaying. You have three options:
    1) Wait for tomorrows release of AS 1.9.
    2) Patch the groupdetails control so the forum link option will display.
    3) Manually update the activesocial_Groups and activesocial_Groups_Forums tables.

    Let me know which approach you want to take and I'll give you more details.
