    Hi,

    I am trying to hide the profile view page by disabling the option in the control panel assuming that the displayname hyperlinks will turn into text (not clickable). Attached is the screenshot. 

    When I do this I can still able to navigate to profile page from groups /forums pages. Is there any alternate way to hide profile page completely with out hiding groups page?

    Disabled isn't the proper word to describe that selection. You can't disable the profile completely without altering templates. You will need to modify all templates to remove the link.

    Can you show me a sample code/token that shows only displayname which is not a hyperlink so that I can modify the templates?

    I don't see any token in the documentation that prints non clickable displaynames.
