I was wondering whether or not ftp'ing photos directly to a users directory or predefined album work?
Will the AS album recognize these photos and display them? Also, whether or not the Amazon S3 import all these pictures?
Please let us know.
I am using the latest AS/AF/DNN available.
Thanks.

Frozen,
I've got Amazon S3 working on our site and it did upload all the photos in the individual directories but we did not ftp them..they were added using the AS uploader.

I am asking this question because I want to transfer all pictures from UMG user directory to AS user directory? Just want to import/transfer users from UMG to AS Albums.
Thanks

I have thought about this myself as well. Don't you have any sub-albums in UMG? This is what is holding me back at this moment to make the transfer as Active Social is not supporting sub-albums at this moment.

Thankfully, no sub-albums here!
SO how to do it? Can it be done?

I have a number of users that have tried to upload a large number of pictures to their profile albums then they never scrolled down and hit save. The upload process gives the impression thay have been saved and yup "Users don't read!". Is there anything that can be done to correct this issue when it occurs? Run an sql script? and AS maintenance script once a day? Something?
