Hi,
I created a new group view template through the designer and named it GroupViewA (BTW, it appears that if you use underscore in the name you get an error when applying the template e.g. GroupView_A yields an error); I then applied it to a specific group and refreshed the page. The instance of AS displayed the new template however without the design. I haven't changed any of the original theme or even the template (an exact copy of 'GroupView'). It is not the first time it happened to me. 

Any suggestions?

No need to refer to this post I solved the problem. FYI, I created a new theme and forgot to copy 'Module.css' to its css folder.
