My client would like me to replace the word 'Friends' with 'Connections'. It appears that this term is used extensively throughout the module in tons of locations and in regards to privacy settings. Is there a simple way to go about locating everywhere that I need to go about replacing this one word for the other? I looked under 'Admin>Languages' for this module, but didn't see any terms I could adjust there.

I have a feeling it might be a big task since it's such a fundamental term. I also don't want to change the word in the event it might throw a wrench in the system somehow, but they're asking for it since the word 'Friend' doesn't fit the vocabulary for what they're using it for. Any advice?

Admin>Languages>Local Resources>Desktop Modules>Active Social>App_LocalResources>Shared Resources is indeed the place to make those changes. Once on the page (at least with FireFox) you can "Find" each occurrence.
